Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Downlight 3 Pro series in China, with prices starting at $19. The devices feature a seamless design for flush ceiling installation and utilize full-spectrum LEDs with a color rendering index of Ra97. The product has passed photobiological safety testing and is flicker-free.
The 12W model delivers a luminous flux of up to 660 lm, marking a 65% increase over the previous generation. Users can adjust brightness and color temperature between 2700K and 5700K. The 45mm deep anti-glare light bowl hides the light source and provides an 80-degree beam angle, while an aluminum radiator manages heat dissipation.
Connectivity is handled via Xiaomi Mesh 2.0, supporting group control and OTA updates. Integration with the Xiaomi Surge Smart Connect ecosystem enables voice commands and automated scenarios. A specialized version includes a 24GHz radar sensor that detects human presence to trigger automatic lighting control in areas like hallways.
