Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Refrigerator 256L in China, a three-door appliance priced at ¥1299, which is approximately $195. The unit is designed for compact living spaces, occupying a floor area of about 0.34 square meters.
The total capacity of 256 liters is divided into three zones: a 136-liter refrigerator compartment, an 85-liter freezer, and a 35-liter flexible chamber with a temperature range of -20 to +5 degrees Celsius. The interior features ten storage zones for organized food placement.
The device utilizes a 360-degree air cooling system, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. It is equipped with an inverter compressor and fan, five temperature sensors, and holds a first-class energy efficiency rating.
To maintain hygiene, the refrigerator includes an antibacterial module with silver ions, which reportedly suppresses up to 99.99 percent of bacteria. Users can manage settings via a control panel located inside the main compartment.
