Xiaomi has officially updated the service standards for its Smart Door Lock 5 Max series. The company has extended the full product warranty from three years to five years.
The Smart Door Lock 5 Max series, which launched on September 23, is available in standard and dual-camera versions. Prices for the series start at ¥2999.65 with government subsidies applied.
The dual-camera model features UWB proximity unlocking technology. The device supports 12 different unlocking methods, including AI-powered 3D facial recognition and palm vein scanning.
The hardware design includes a bridge structure with an AG-treated panel and a glass-textured handle. It is equipped with a 192-degree 2K camera and a dynamic night vision system.
For power, the lock uses two 8000 mAh batteries. The manufacturer states that the standard battery life for the device reaches 11 months under normal usage conditions.
