Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi Group, visited Unitree Robotics to meet with the company founder Wang Xinxing. During the event, a humanoid robot from Unitree approached a Xiaomi Skynomad N90 vehicle and gestured toward it.
The demonstration included a sparring session between Lei Jun and the humanoid robot. After receiving a physical blow from the Xiaomi executive, the robot stumbled backward but successfully maintained its balance without falling.
Unitree recently introduced the G1+ humanoid robot, which features six upgrades over the previous G1 model. These machines are capable of performing complex movements, dancing, and engaging in combat.
Lei Jun publicly acknowledged his early support for the company, noting that his firm, Shunwei Capital, invested in Unitree five years ago. The visit highlights the ongoing collaboration between the two entities.
