Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun visited the Bilibili headquarters today. He was welcomed by Bilibili chairman and CEO Chen Rui, with a banner greeting him as a Bilibili content creator.
Xu Jieyun, assistant to the Xiaomi chairman, noted that Lei Jun first appeared on the platform in early 2016. At that time, he posted a video greeting via the official Xiaomi company account.
The 2016 video, released on February 22, coincided with the period just before the launch of the Xiaomi 5 smartphone. It remains on the platform's top-ranking list, having reached the 18th position.
Lei Jun officially registered his personal account on Bilibili on July 28, 2020. Upon joining, he acknowledged his existing popularity among the platform's community and thanked users for their support.
