Xiaomi has officially launched the stable version of HyperOS 4. The initial rollout includes the Xiaomi 17 series, Redmi K100 and K90 models, and the Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet line. The update introduces enhancements to AI capabilities, cross-device connectivity, and overall system performance.
Key software additions feature the Super Xiao Ai 2.0 assistant and the proprietary MiMo large language model. Users also gain access to the new Inspiration Ball interface and an expert mode. The company plans to expand the update to additional devices, including the Xiaomi 17T and Redmi Turbo 5 series, by October 31.
The deployment schedule continues through November and December, covering older flagship series such as Xiaomi 15, 14, and 13, alongside various Redmi K80, K70, and Note models. The update will also reach foldable devices like the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 and numerous tablet models.
By January 2027, the rollout will extend to wearable devices and televisions. This list includes the Xiaomi Watch S4, Redmi Watch 6, and the Smart Band 10 series. Xiaomi notes that the distribution process is phased, meaning specific arrival times for the firmware may vary by region and device.
