Xiaomi has adjusted the pricing for its first network-attached storage device, Xiaomi Smart Storage, just six weeks after its initial launch on August 27. On the JD.com platform, the price for the 4 TB model has been reduced to ¥2384 from the original ¥2699. The 16 TB version is now available for ¥5084, down from ¥5499. These new prices reflect the application of government subsidies.

The hardware features a metal chassis with two drive bays compatible with 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives. It supports a maximum capacity of 60 TB when using two 30 TB drives. Technical specifications include 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, USB-A 3.0, and an HDMI 1.4 output. The manufacturer provides a four-year warranty for the device.

The system supports up to 16 user accounts and offers remote access with a bandwidth of 40 Mbps. It includes AI-powered photo sorting and search, smartphone and WeChat backup, and video storage for up to four security cameras for 360 days. Additionally, the unit serves as a smart home hub and supports 4K HDR10 video playback with automated media organization features.
