Xiaomi has unveiled the display specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series, which will feature the new Super Pixel 2.0 technology. The screen incorporates the M11 light-emitting system, utilizes new green materials, and features a full RGB pixel layout.
The devices will include a hardware-based privacy feature called Intelligent Privacy Display. This system automatically detects sensitive content, such as password entry fields, payment pages, money transfer screens, and private messages, to hide confidential data.
Users can organize applications into groups and define custom display rules for each category. The privacy settings are adaptable to various usage scenarios, and the functionality has already been identified in the international version of the Xiaomi firmware.
The official launch event for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models is scheduled for September 23. This release is described by the company as the most significant update in the history of the series.
