XGIMI has launched the AURA 3 laser TV, which is marketed as the industry's first model to support native 4K resolution at 120Hz. The device maintains a stable full-screen brightness of 850 nits and offers a native contrast ratio of 7000:1, which can be dynamically boosted to 70000:1.
The projector features a 0.16:1 throw ratio, allowing it to display a 100-inch image from a distance of 12.8 cm from the wall. It is equipped with a custom X-Vision image processing chip and a DynaEye stepless bionic aperture that adjusts between F/2.0 and F/7.0 based on content brightness.
For audio, the system includes an 80W Harman Kardon sound setup with a 2000cc chamber and support for Dolby Atmos, DTS X, and IMAX Enhanced. Gaming features include VRR support from 48Hz to 240Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, and an auto-low latency mode with a 1ms response time.
The device holds TÜV Rheinland certification for blue light reduction and SGS certification for speckle-free performance. It also includes an anti-light screen with 85% light resistance and 1.5x brightness gain. The AURA 3 has been available for purchase since September 29.
