Founded in 2007 in Guangzhou, XAG initially explored various drone applications before pivoting to agriculture in 2013. The company now offers a diverse portfolio including agricultural drones, ground robots, autopilot systems, and smart-farm infrastructure. Its latest X Series system automates the entire turnaround process, including charging, liquid mixing, refilling, and cleaning, which previously required human intervention.
The X Series, demonstrated at the SuperX Farm in July 2026, integrates X100 or X150 drones with XA1 stations and LM1 liquid-handling systems. This setup allows for a three-minute turnaround between flights. Additionally, the company introduced the RM80, an electric four-wheel-drive autonomous mower designed for orchards and fields, further expanding its ground-based automation capabilities.
Financial performance has improved significantly, with revenue growing from RMB 614.5 million in 2023 to RMB 1.17 billion in 2025. The company shifted from a loss of RMB 132.8 million in 2023 to a profit of RMB 123.8 million in 2025. Agricultural drones remain the primary revenue driver, accounting for 87.6% of total income in 2025.
XAG is actively expanding its international footprint, with distributors now covering nearly 70 countries. Overseas revenue reached RMB 419 million in 2025, representing 35.9% of total revenue. The company is currently targeting the U.S. market, where it competes with established farm-machinery manufacturers and domestic drone providers.
