X has officially launched its Cashtag Partner Program in the United States. The initiative allows users to transition directly from financial discussions on the platform to executing trades on integrated brokerage websites.
At the time of launch, the program includes five brokerage partners: Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase. These platforms are now accessible through the Trade option integrated into existing Cashtags.
Cashtags on X function as interactive links for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. By clicking on a ticker symbol, users can view real-time price charts and related posts before selecting a brokerage to complete their transaction.
The company stated that the program aims to bridge the gap between market discovery and execution. This integration removes the need for users to manually search for a brokerage platform after viewing financial data on their timeline.
