Social media platform X has initiated legal action in the High Court of England and Wales against Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and several unidentified individuals. The company alleges that these operators manipulated engagement metrics to fraudulently obtain payouts from its former creator revenue-sharing program.
The lawsuit identifies six primary accounts involved in the scheme: @Vivek4real_, @Bitcoin_Teddy, @saylordocs, @TrendingBitcoin, @Kalshibacktest, and @PolyBackTest. These profiles joined the program between August 2023 and February 2026. X claims the defendants used additional accounts, such as @BTC_Vibes and @MrSuperBitcoin, to artificially boost interaction through coordinated reposts and likes.
According to the filing, the defendants allegedly secured at least £207 384, equivalent to $278 000. X suspended the associated accounts on August 18, 2026, citing platform manipulation. The company retired the revenue-sharing program on September 7, 2026, and subsequently launched the Original Content Rewards system.
Beyond the direct payouts, X estimates additional investigation and remediation expenses of at least £75 000, or $100 000. The total claimed and projected losses, excluding interest and legal fees, amount to at least £282 384. The defendants have not provided comments regarding the allegations.
