Workiva is preparing for its Amplify 2026 event, scheduled for September 15-16. The conference will feature insights from leaders in finance, accounting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. Executives from Workiva, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and McKinsey & Co. will discuss the role of AI and connected data in reshaping reporting and risk management.

The company is shifting its focus from AI-enabled tools to AI-native workflows. This approach involves redesigning business processes around AI capabilities rather than simply using AI to speed up existing tasks. The goal is to maintain traceability and governance while increasing operational speed in finance and GRC (governance, risk, and compliance).

Workiva has already implemented several AI advancements. In July, the company launched three specialized agents designed to reduce the labor-intensive process of cross-referencing and assessing data. It also introduced Workiva Knowledge, an intelligence layer that grounds AI agent interactions in an organization's specific data and content.
