Withings has introduced a new subscription requirement for its fitness-tracking devices. Starting October 13, 2026, new users must purchase a Withings Plus subscription to enable automatic synchronization of health data with third-party platforms such as Apple Health and Google Health.
The subscription service is priced at $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year. New customers receive a one-month free trial upon device activation. Once the trial period concludes, the automatic synchronization feature is suspended, although previously synced data remains stored in the third-party applications.
The company confirmed that users with accounts created on or before October 12, 2026, retain free access to the synchronization feature. This benefit is linked to the user account rather than specific hardware, allowing existing customers to continue using the service for free even if they purchase new Withings devices in the future.
