Windrose has developed an all-electric power take-off (EPTO) system designed to provide power to external equipment without using diesel. The device is the size of an iPad and is integrated directly into the company's proprietary e-axle.
The system operates on an 800V high-voltage platform and delivers up to 70 kW of power. This solution is specifically aimed at vehicle transport fleets that utilize specialized trailers with high power requirements, such as ramps and racks.
The company's R700 electric semi truck has previously demonstrated its capabilities by hauling a 75,000 lb. combined load over a distance of more than 578 miles between Colton, California and Buckeye, Arizona.
