Users of Apple devices in Russia are reporting widespread issues accessing the App Store. Many report that the store fails to load or displays a connection error message. Some users have found that enabling a VPN temporarily resolves the connectivity problems.

Data from the monitoring service Sboy.rf shows over 470 complaints filed since the start of September 20. This is a significant increase compared to the 21 reports recorded throughout the previous day. Issues have been reported across 43 regions of the country over the last 12 hours.

Moscow accounts for approximately 18% of all complaints. Other affected areas include the Novosibirsk region with 10%, the Chelyabinsk region with 8%, and the Khabarovsk and Kemerovo regions with 7% each. The Perm region and Tatarstan each represent 6% of the reports.

The disruption affects users across multiple mobile and internet providers, including Rostelecom and Beeline. Despite these reports, the official Apple system status page indicates that the App Store is fully operational. The company has not yet provided an explanation for the outage.
