VR Concept has released version 0.30, which introduces enhanced support for engineering models created in Kompas-3D. The update allows for the direct import of .a3d and .m3d file formats, enabling users to analyze, demonstrate, and collaborate on these designs both on standard PCs and in virtual reality environments.
The new release includes advanced visual programming tools. A 'Show/Hide object' block allows for dynamic control over 3D scene elements, while a 'Lock Movement' block enables users to restrict or permit the movement of specific objects based on their ID. These features facilitate the creation of interactive training scenarios and equipment demonstrations.
The updated FrameRecorder plugin, powered by FFmpeg, now enables users to capture screenshots and record video directly within the application. This functionality is designed to assist in preparing project reports and presentations. In multi-user sessions, participants receive automated notifications when screen recording begins.
The application now includes a dedicated section in the menu that displays license information. Users can verify their license type and view a comprehensive list of modules currently available within their specific software package.
