Five boiler houses at the Vostochny Cosmodrome have been connected to the gas supply system. The transition ceremony took place on September 18 via video conference, led by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Vostochny was among seven sites across the country to receive gas connections on that day.

The total capacity of the five converted facilities reaches 130.5 MW. Specifically, one boiler house has a capacity of 46.5 MW, another 30 MW, a third 20 MW, and two others provide 17 MW each. These units previously operated on diesel fuel.

The facilities are expected to be fully operational on gas by the start of the heating season. The new infrastructure will supply heat to six sites at the cosmodrome, including the launch and technical complexes for the Soyuz-2 launch vehicles. Future plans include connecting the Angara rocket complex.
