Geely Auto Group and Volvo Cars have finalized a commercial partnership agreement for the Lynk & Co brand in Europe. Starting January 1, 2027, Volvo Cars will serve as the exclusive distributor for Lynk & Co across the European market, managing all local commercial and brand operations.
The collaboration aims to scale Lynk & Co's European presence by leveraging Volvo's established retail and after-sales infrastructure. This shift transitions the brand toward a more scalable retail model while maintaining its positioning as a global high-end new energy vehicle manufacturer.
The agreement does not involve any changes to the equity structure of the companies. Geely Auto Group will retain control over core business functions, including global product design, research and development, regulatory compliance, and overall brand strategy for Lynk & Co.
