Volvo is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the launch of the 100 Year Edition of the FH16 Electric semi truck. This special version features a two-tone exterior design and tan leather details that match the anniversary striping on the paintwork.
The interior upgrades include a premium leather seat base with '100 Year Edition' embroidery on grey textile, 3D-printed speaker grilles, and a thicker floor mat in black/grey mélange with tan leather labels. The cabin is equipped with illuminated doorsteps, LED strips on the console with switchable red and white mood lighting, and an LED welcome light that projects the branding onto the ground.
The sleeper cab curtains feature a timeline of Volvo's key truck models from the past century. This release follows previous special editions such as the FH 25 Year, FH Aero Euro NCAP, and Volvo Ocean Race Limited Edition.
The FH Electric model provides up to 540 kW (approximately 730 hp) of peak power via advanced eAxles. It is equipped with a 360 kWh battery pack, with options for batteries up to 780 kWh. The truck offers a loaded range of up to 400 km and can be recharged from 20% to 80% in about an hour using 350 kW of charging power.
