Volkswagen is updating its 2027 vehicle lineup, including the electric ID. Buzz van, with the latest version of the IQ.Drive ADAS system. The suite now features assisted lane changes via turn signals and an Emergency Assist Plus function capable of pulling the vehicle over during medical emergencies. Predictive Cruise Control has also been refined for smoother operation.
The 2027 ID. Buzz, along with the Atlas and Tiguan, now includes a rear-view camera system with pedestrian detection. Additionally, the electric van supports Road Experience Management, which utilizes real-world camera data to improve navigation and lane centering. This feature is part of the In-Vehicle Premium subscription service, which comes with a one-year trial for new owners.
The ID. Buzz returns for the 2027 model year following a brief hiatus. The lineup now includes a new Tourer trim specifically designed for camping. Customers can choose from four configurations: Pro S RWD, Pro S 4Motion, Tourer 4Motion, and Pro S Plus 4Motion. Volkswagen has not yet disclosed pricing for the 2027 models.
