The Volkswagen ID.3 Neo features a redesigned interior with haptic controls and toggle switches for climate settings. The vehicle is equipped with the new APP 350 electric motor, which delivers 140 kW and provides rear-wheel drive. It accelerates to 100 km/h in eight seconds.
The model is available with a 58 kWh battery, offering a real-world range of 387 km. During testing, the vehicle achieved a peak DC charging power of 126 kW, exceeding the official specification of 105 kW. A 25-minute charge adds approximately 200 km of motorway range.
Volkswagen is transitioning to LFP battery chemistry for the 50 kWh and 58 kWh versions within the updated MEB+ platform. The 50 kWh variant utilizes software-limited 58 kWh hardware, effectively operating in a permanent battery care mode to enhance durability.
Pricing for the ID.3 Neo starts at €33 995, with tiered purchase premiums ranging from €2 000 to €4 000 depending on the trim level. Eligible private customers may receive an additional subsidy of up to €6 000.
