A Volkswagen Polo collided with a Bugatti Tourbillon prototype on a mountain road in Sierra Nevada, Granada, Spain. The incident occurred when the Volkswagen failed to stop behind the Bugatti, which had slowed down for roadworks. The event was captured in a video posted on Instagram, showing the collision after the vehicles approached a temporary traffic signal.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is currently in the development phase. The manufacturer plans to produce only 250 units of the vehicle, with a base price starting at €3,8 million before taxes. This valuation is equivalent to approximately $4,4 million at current exchange rates.
In comparison, the Volkswagen Polo is listed by Volkswagen Spain with a starting price of €16 900, or approximately $19 700. The cash price for the model is €18 304, which is about $21 300. The cost of a single base Bugatti Tourbillon is theoretically equivalent to the price of 208 new Volkswagen Polo vehicles.
