The upcoming Vivo X500 smartphone is scheduled for an official presentation on September 21. Leaked images from industry insider Panda is Bald reveal that the device runs on the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 9600M platform, which may be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 9500.

The device features 12 GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded to 24 GB, and 512 GB of internal storage. The hardware is powered by a 7500 mAh battery, marking a significant focus on device autonomy for this new flagship model.

The camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 828 wide-angle sensor with a 1/1.28-inch optical format and Zeiss-developed stabilization rated at CIPA 5.5. A Sony Lytia 610 sensor handles telephoto tasks, while image processing is managed by the proprietary Vivo Blueprint V3+ chip.

The base model of the Vivo X500 is expected to support an external teleconverter to enhance optical zoom capabilities. These specifications were disclosed by Panda is Bald, an insider previously known for leaking product launch dates and color options for other major smartphone brands.
