Vivo has officially launched its new flagship smartphones, the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, in the Chinese market. Both devices are the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The handsets utilize new Q11 display panels developed in collaboration with BOE, supporting adaptive refresh rates up to 144 Hz and a minimum hardware brightness of 1 nit.
The X500 Pro features a 6.36-inch display, while the X500 Pro Max offers a larger 6.85-inch 2K Q11 Zeiss Master Color screen. Both models incorporate Zeiss optics, including a primary Zeiss Ultra Dynamic camera with VCS 4.0 technology and a BlueTouch 900 sensor that provides a dynamic range of up to 17 EV.
The X500 Pro Max distinguishes itself with a 200-megapixel APO telephoto lens based on a 1/1.4-inch Blueprint x Samsung HP0 sensor, supporting 4x lossless zoom. The device also includes the Blueprint engine and NICE algorithms for tracking moving subjects and is compatible with the Zeiss G2 teleconverter for 400 mm equivalent focal length.
The standard X500 Pro includes an APO telephoto lens with a Blueprint x Sony LYTIA 610 sensor and an 85 mm focal length. Battery capacities differ between the models: the X500 Pro is equipped with a 6510 mAh battery, while the Pro Max version houses an 8000 mAh unit. Both smartphones support 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging, available in four color options.
