Visa is integrating settlement data from its VisaNet network with on-chain credit infrastructure to assist lenders and fintech companies. This initiative aims to improve access to working capital for businesses by utilizing transparent and programmable financial data.

The company reported significant growth in its stablecoin-related operations. The payment volume for card programs linked to stablecoins on the Visa network rose by nearly 200% year over year. Additionally, the annualized run rate for stablecoin settlement volume exceeded $20 billion, marking a 15-fold increase.

Credit Coop is among the first to utilize this integration, combining Visa settlement data with on-chain records to automate financing and assess credit performance. This allows lenders to monitor real-time transaction data and enforce repayments directly from settlement flows.

These developments follow the July launch of the Visa Stablecoin Platform, currently in beta for select financial institutions and crypto firms. The platform provides tools for minting, redeeming, and managing stablecoins within a single environment.

Visa continues to expand its technical infrastructure to support digital assets. As of April, the company supports nine blockchains for its global stablecoin settlement pilot, having added five new networks to the program earlier this year.
