Inyo Global has become the first processor to integrate Visa Direct’s stablecoin-enabled prefunding capability. This new feature allows businesses to use USDC to pre-fund cross-border payouts in near real time, providing a round-the-clock funding option through existing Inyo APIs.

The platform currently supports domestic and international payouts across more than 180 countries. By utilizing stablecoins, companies can manage liquidity and move money more efficiently, while recipients continue to receive funds in their local currency.

This launch follows a year-long initiative by Visa to explore stablecoin applications for business funding. Pilot programs conducted throughout 2025 tested the use of stablecoins for global disbursements, aiming to reduce friction in prefunding and improve access to working capital for treasurers.

In November 2025, Visa also piloted a feature enabling gig workers and creators to receive payouts directly into their wallets in dollar-backed stablecoins. These initiatives represent Visa's broader strategy to integrate blockchain-based assets into its global payment network.
