Verme has updated its 'Shift Exchange' platform to assist companies in complying with new tax regulations. The service is now available free of charge to all participants of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) pilot project aimed at increasing transparency in the staffing market.
The update introduces an automated reporting tool that tracks shift details, including time, rates, and employment types. This feature generates payment registers for tax authorities, which is particularly relevant for retail and e-commerce companies participating in the FTS experiment since September 1, 2026.
Under the new rules, customers must calculate tax liabilities for contractors, with up to 75% of the amount transferred directly to the contractor's tax account. The platform also includes a tool for monitoring working hour limits for self-employed individuals, using tax ID tracking across multiple sources.
This monitoring is essential due to government decree No. 760, effective October 1, 2026, which limits self-employed work for a single customer to 60 hours per month over six consecutive months. Exceeding this limit may lead to the reclassification of the relationship as employment.
The platform acts as an aggregator for various external staffing sources, including self-employed workers, partner platforms, and outsourcing agencies. It manages request routing and prepares reports for both personnel suppliers and regulators to help businesses maintain key performance metrics like SLA and fill rates.
