Veridion, a startup specializing in business intelligence, has secured $20 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Hoxton Ventures, with contributions from Underline Ventures, OTB Ventures, Gapminder, Day One Capital, and Launchub.
Founded in 2019, the company maintains a live business graph containing data on approximately 640 million entities globally. The platform processes billions of digital signals from sources such as public registries, corporate websites, and regulatory filings to provide real-time operational updates.
The startup currently serves over 100 organizations and maintains a workforce of more than 60 employees across Europe and North America. North America is currently the company's largest market, and the new capital will be used to scale its platform and international operations.
The company aims to address the limitations of traditional business intelligence, which typically relies on quarterly or annual updates. By offering more frequent data, Veridion intends to help banks, insurers, and investors monitor risks related to supply chain disruptions and shifting economic conditions.
