Vauxhall has unveiled a redesigned version of its Griffin emblem, marking the 13th iteration of the logo since the 1920s. The updated badge features a sharper, more angular design and removes the flag element. This change is intended to improve the appearance of the logo when illuminated on the company's Vizor grille, a feature present in the lineup since 2021.

The new emblem will debut on the STX Concept, an aero-driven wagon, which is scheduled to be revealed on October 12. The badge will appear on a next-generation production model in 2026. The debut of the concept is set for the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Alongside the vehicle badge, the company is implementing a new corporate identity across its retail locations.

The redesign is part of a broader strategy by Stellantis to maintain the Vauxhall brand identity within its portfolio. Despite sharing platforms and powertrains with other Stellantis brands, Vauxhall will retain distinct design characteristics. The company confirms that future products will be differentiated from other group models, such as those from Peugeot, through unique body styles and brand-specific features.
