Vaultary, a subsidiary of Web3 Tech, has been officially registered as a digital depository by the Bank of Russia as of October 6, 2026. This status allows the company to provide infrastructure for storing digital currencies and enables other financial institutions to launch their own depository services.

On the day of its registration, Vaultary completed its first inter-depository transaction with a subordinate financial organization. This operation established Vaultary as the first infrastructure-level digital depository in Russia, utilizing a cascading interaction model similar to traditional securities markets.

The platform offers institutional clients, such as banks and brokers, the ability to integrate with its infrastructure via API. This allows firms to offer digital currency and foreign digital asset services under their own brands without developing the underlying technology from scratch.

Vaultary handles technical operations including asset storage, cryptographic key management, transaction processing, and blockchain network interaction. According to CEO Artem Kalikhov, this model provides an efficient way for businesses to enter the digital asset market without years of internal development.
