The Vantex V1 mechanical keyboard has debuted on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. The device features an ergonomic columnar stagger layout housed in an aluminum unibody chassis. It includes a central 45 by 45 mm multitouch trackpad and three additional shortcut keys for macros or navigation.

The keyboard offers a 60 percent layout using 1u and 1.25u keycaps. Users can configure up to four programmable layers, including a dedicated mouse layer. The firmware details remain undisclosed at this stage.

Two versions are available for backers. The wired model starts at $129 on Kickstarter, with an MSRP of $259. The tri-mode wireless version, supporting 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and USB-C connectivity, is priced at $159 for both the campaign and the retail release.
