VanEck reported a $97 million inflow into its spot BNB ETF, trading under the ticker VBNB, on Friday. This figure marks the first significant movement for the fund since its launch in the US on May 28, 2026. However, independent trackers like Glassnode have not yet verified this inflow, noting zero net flows as of October 2, 2026.
Prior to this report, the fund held between $2.3 million and $2.7 million in assets under management as of early October 2026. The ETF charges a sponsor fee of 0.39%. Custody arrangements have been expanded to include both Anchorage Digital Bank and BitGo.
VanEck recently updated the fund's objectives to include staking alongside tracking the spot price of BNB. Figment was appointed as the staking validator on September 25, 2026, with a 4% fee applied to staked holdings. The network currently reports 33 million monthly active users and $160 million in annual revenue.
