Vammo, a Brazilian electric motorcycle and battery-swapping firm, has reached EBITDA profitability and surpassed 10 million battery swaps. The company currently supports over 10,000 active riders and operates a network of approximately 1,000 swapping stations in the state of São Paulo.

The company expects to reach $45 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026. Vammo achieved breakeven in June, six months ahead of its original schedule. It anticipates the total number of battery swaps will exceed 100 million by 2027.

Vammo is initiating geographic expansion, with Campinas set to become its second official city. The company holds a 65% share of the Brazilian electric motorcycle market as of this year. Data from FENABRAVE indicates that 11,587 electric motorcycles were registered in Brazil from January through August.

The firm is deploying third-generation swapping stations that utilize AI-based software to optimize charging rates, reducing costs by 15%. Additionally, Vammo has introduced a 36-month rent-to-own program to provide an alternative to high-interest vehicle financing, which can reach 45% in the region.
