The new VAIO T laptop features a unique dual-hinge mechanism. In addition to the standard hinge, a second hinge is located in the middle of the upper section. This design allows the screen to fold over the keyboard in a face-to-face orientation when in tablet mode, providing a flat base for the user.

The device is powered by third-generation Intel Core Ultra Panther Lake processors, with the X7 358H available as the top-tier option. It includes LPDDR5X memory and supports PCIe Gen5 SSD storage. The laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch display featuring a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one HDMI port, and a 1GbE RJ-45 port. The device also features an audio jack. Users can choose between a standard battery or a high-capacity version.

The weight of the consumer version starts at 1253g for the standard battery and 1322g for the high-capacity model. The thickness of the chassis ranges from 14.6mm to 19.6mm.
