UserGate and Inbres have completed compatibility testing for the UserGate NGFW X10 firewall and the Inbres software-hardware complex. This integration aims to provide multi-level security for automated process control systems within critical information infrastructure facilities.
The NGFW X10 units are designed for network segmentation and industrial traffic monitoring. They are installed directly into server cabinets to protect vulnerable nodes that do not undergo frequent updates. The solution is currently deployed across various critical infrastructure sectors in Russia.
Testing conducted at the Inbres facility covered over 40 parameters, including fault tolerance, traffic filtering, and administrative system compatibility. The setup was validated under conditions simulating a 500 kV substation, confirming its ability to operate at both logical data bus boundaries and physical perimeters.
The choice of UserGate NGFW X10 was driven by its inclusion in the FSTEC registry of certified information security tools and trusted equipment. According to Inbres, these certifications are essential for meeting regulatory requirements for critical infrastructure protection.
