Unusual Whales has launched its Options Trader application on the new Robinhood Agent Apps marketplace. The service, which costs $30 per month, integrates real-time options flow data and unusual market activity detection directly into Robinhood's AI agents. Users can leverage these signals to inform their trading decisions within the Robinhood ecosystem.
The integration utilizes Robinhood's Model Context Protocol servers to feed data into AI analysis. While Unusual Whales is among the first to join the marketplace, other providers such as Nasdaq and SpotGamma are also offering their own agent applications. Trades initiated by these AI agents occur in dedicated accounts and require manual user approval.
Robinhood introduced agentic trading in May 2026 and has since recorded the creation of over 150,000 accounts specifically for AI agent operations. These agents currently process approximately 30 million tool calls daily. The underlying infrastructure for the marketplace began development in March 2026 with the integration of market data via MCP servers.
