London-based women’s health startup Unravel Health has secured €2.96 million in a funding round led by Conduit EIS Impact Fund and Wrightwood. Other participants included Leo Capital, Embryo Ventures, Hermesa, and existing investor Zinc VC.
Founded in 2024 by Veronika Bridgman, Liza Levy, and Dr. Alexandra Oti, the company is developing a palm-sized device called the Micro Lab. The technology, which is protected by three patents, was developed over ten years at the University of Glasgow and is designed to measure multiple hormones simultaneously using saliva samples.
The new capital will support external equivalency studies, the development of additional markers, and the regulatory approval process. The company plans to release its first early-access devices in 2027 through partnerships in pharmacy, digital health, and clinical research.
Prior to this round, the startup received over €1.18 million from sources including Innovate UK, the Medical Research Council, and SBRI. The current investment round reached a first close of over €2.36 million on October 14 and is expected to conclude in the coming weeks.
