Universe Data has released version 2.16 of its Data Governance (DG) platform. The update introduces enhanced automated classification tools, including smart and composite tags, potential key identification, and bulk labeling capabilities to reduce manual workload for data stewards.
The new release features versioning for business processes, allowing users to search for tasks by version, compare versions, and view version details within tasks. Notification systems have been expanded to include task assignment and completion events to improve transparency in approval workflows.
The Data Flow view now covers physical, logical, and business layers, providing improved navigation for complex graphs and support for meta-links. These changes allow users to analyze data lineage and impact within a unified business and technical context.
Additional updates include improvements to data quality rule management, matching processes, and access control flexibility. Universe DG is part of the AIDP intelligent data platform, distributed in Russia by DIS Group.
