On October 8, streamer Westcol showcased a Unitree G1 humanoid robot, dubbed T800, during a live broadcast on the Kick platform in Medellin. The device, valued at over $100,000, was acquired for the upcoming Stream Fighters 5 event.

During a dance demonstration, the robot struck the host on the back of the head, causing him to fall. The host did not sustain serious injuries, and the broadcast resumed shortly after the incident.

Following the initial contact, the robot hit and shattered a glass display case. The machine subsequently lost its balance, fell to the floor, and continued to move erratically for a short period.

Preliminary assessments suggest the malfunction was not caused by an AI failure or intentional aggression. Experts point to a lack of spatial awareness at close range as the likely cause for the collisions.
