Ugreen has released a 500W car power inverter, now available on JD.com for ¥599. The device features a fire-resistant PC shell with a metallic finish and measures 207.5 x 89 x 54.5 mm. A built-in digital display provides real-time monitoring of input and output voltage and power levels.
The inverter offers two power input methods. Connecting via alligator clips to a car battery allows for a maximum output of 500W, suitable for small appliances like projectors or rice cookers. Using the cigarette lighter port limits the total output to 150W, which is sufficient for charging laptops, smartphones, and powering car refrigerators.
The unit is equipped with two AC outlets, one USB-C port, and one USB-A port. The USB-C port supports the PD protocol with 30W output, while the USB-A port supports 22.5W via the SCP protocol. When both USB ports are used simultaneously, the combined output is capped at 24W. The AC outlets include safety shutters requiring 45N of force to operate.
