Ugreen has launched the Magic color e-ink phone case on JD.com, priced at ¥278.8. The accessory is designed for Apple iPhone 17 and 18 Pro and Max models, combining device protection with a customizable display feature.
The case features a 3.7-inch e-ink panel capable of displaying black, white, red, yellow, blue, and green colors. Users can customize images via the Ugreen app, with the update process taking 40 seconds in total, including 20 seconds for upload and 20 seconds for refreshing the screen.
The display utilizes passive NFC technology, drawing minimal power only during image transfer. The screen consumes zero power for static images and retains the display even without power. A side button allows users to disconnect the NFC antenna to prevent interference with mobile payments.
Constructed from TPU, PC, and microfiber materials, the case is available in matte black, foggy white, and burgundy. It includes a metal camera button and an NFC button. The design incorporates corner airbags and raised edges, extending 1mm above the screen and 0.7mm above the camera lens.
