Canonical has unveiled the official wallpaper collection for the upcoming Ubuntu 26.10 release, codenamed Stonking Stingray. The set includes four distinct versions: light, soft dark, dark, and full-color, all of which are currently available for download via Google Drive.

The development schedule for the new operating system is set for the coming weeks. The beta version is slated for release on September 24, followed by the official launch of the final build on October 15. The two releases are separated by a three-week interval.

Ubuntu 26.10 is classified as a non-LTS release, meaning it will receive support for a period of nine months. In addition to the official assets, the Ubuntu community has shared a selection of contest-winning wallpapers that will accompany the new system release.
