Ubiquiti has introduced the Enterprise Campus Switch Core, a new L3 Ethernet core switch designed for corporate environments. The device features 32 ports of 100Gbps QSFP28, along with a single 1Gbps RJ-45 port and a console port. It offers a non-blocking throughput of 3.2Tbps and a forwarding rate of 2.8Bpps.
The ECS-Core utilizes a 1U 19-inch rack-mount chassis and includes redundant power modules alongside five hot-swappable fans. The switch supports MC-LAG multi-chassis link aggregation and provides a range of L2 and L3 networking capabilities. The hardware is currently priced at $4,999.
Alongside the core switch, the company launched the Enterprise Campus 48S PoE model. This L3 PoE+++ switch is priced at $3,999 and includes 32 ports of 2.5G RJ-45 and 16 ports of 10G RJ-45, all supporting PoE+++. Additionally, it offers one 1G RJ-45 port, four 25G SFP28 ports, and two 100G QSFP28 ports.
