The UAE's Cyber Security Council reports that hacking attempts have surged to 800,000 per day since February, a fourfold increase over pre-war levels. Attacks have targeted aviation, energy, education, and financial sectors, with AI being used to automate phishing, find software vulnerabilities, and write malicious code.

On May 12, the UAE launched the 'Cyber Factory' initiative in partnership with CPX Holding. This program aims to develop domestic AI-driven security systems to increase response speed and achieve national cyber sovereignty by reducing reliance on foreign tools.
