The United Arab Emirates has completed the development and testing of its asteroid mission probe. The spacecraft was designed and built domestically in less than two years by a team of over 150 scientists and engineers.

The mission aims to cover a distance of approximately 5 billion kilometers across the solar system to study seven different asteroids. This project serves as a key initiative for the nation to enhance its technical expertise in spacecraft design and testing.

The UAE space sector is currently valued at over $12 billion. The government plans to double the economic output of this industry by 2031, aiming to position the country among the top ten global space economies.
