Turbo Oblako, a Russian cloud provider within the RTK-TsOD group, has launched a new Web Application Firewall (WAF) service. The solution is designed to monitor incoming traffic, detect suspicious activity, and block malicious requests to prevent unauthorized data access.
The service is based on software registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software. Users can manage the WAF directly through the provider's cloud platform dashboard, eliminating the need to deploy dedicated infrastructure or purchase additional hardware.
The product features a pay-as-you-go pricing model based on the volume of legitimate requests per second. This billing approach does not impose limits on the number of nodes or available features, aiming to make the service accessible to businesses of all sizes.
Functionality includes tools for attack detection, anomaly monitoring, and automated threat reporting. To ensure rapid response to emerging vulnerabilities, the system utilizes virtual patching, which provides protection before official software updates are released.
