Trust Wallet has integrated MoonPay Headless, allowing users in the United States to purchase cryptocurrency directly within the application. This update eliminates the need to redirect to third-party checkout pages, keeping the entire transaction flow inside the wallet interface.
Users can now complete purchases using debit cards, credit cards, or Apple Pay. The integration also enables the saving of payment methods and the linking of MoonPay accounts to facilitate faster repeat transactions.
The partnership between the two companies dates back to 2020. On August 14, 2025, they signed a strategic agreement designating MoonPay as the primary provider for the Buy Crypto function within Trust Wallet.
MoonPay operates in over 190 countries and recently launched MoonPay Trade, a product supporting cross-chain swaps across seven blockchains. In early September 2026, the company also added Cash App Pay as a payment option.
Trust Wallet reports a global user base of approximately 200 million. While the Headless integration currently targets the US market, it aims to bridge the convenience gap between self-custody wallets and centralized exchanges.
