The team behind the Official Trump (TRUMP) meme coin has announced a gala dinner scheduled for November 22 at the Trump National club in Washington, D.C. The event is open to the top 185 holders on the project's time-weighted leaderboard, which began tracking data on September 30.
The top 29 participants will also attend a VIP reception featuring Donald Trump and a special guest. Additionally, the four highest-ranked VIPs are set to receive 18K gold watches. Eligibility for these rewards will be determined by a snapshot of token holdings taken on November 12.
The project previously hosted similar events, including a dinner for 220 holders in May 2025 and a conference for 297 holders in March 2026. Historical data indicates that these announcements often led to significant sell-offs, with 92 of the 220 invited holders liquidating their positions before the 2025 gathering.
At the time of reporting, the TRUMP token was trading at $2.14, reflecting a 3.74% increase over 24 hours. Despite this short-term movement, the asset has declined 9% over the past month and 55% year-to-date, while the broader cryptocurrency market capitalization currently stands at $2.89 trillion.
