According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, President Donald Trump's approval rating has reached a record low of 31 percent. This figure represents a one-percentage-point decline over a two-week period and marks the lowest level recorded during either of his presidential terms.

The survey indicates that 68 percent of Americans disapprove of the president's management of the economy. Voter sentiment regarding economic leadership has shifted, with 40 percent of respondents favoring Democrats compared to 33 percent who support Republicans.

In a generic ballot for the upcoming November 3 congressional elections, 47 percent of voters stated they would support Democrats, while 35 percent indicated a preference for the Republican Party.

The polling data highlights concerns over rising gasoline prices, which surged following military strikes on Iran in February. Additionally, the administration has implemented new tariffs on imported goods and reduced fuel economy regulations and incentives for electric vehicles.
